Before moving to Charlotte County, I spent 9 months as a student family mediator and another 5 months representing domestic violence victims in cases ranging from divorce and child custody to injunctions and protective orders. In addition to my work in family law, I contracted with a private appellate firm for a year and a half, with a focus on writing criminal appeals.
